As healthcare professionals we often make the worst patients because we have a hard time with receiving help. However, giving help and never receiving it can lead imbalance that can take a toll on our mental and physical health. It can lead to compassion fatigue and burnout all of which you likely thought could never happen to you. We are here to say that burnout and fatigue are not failures on your part, in fact, we believe they are the exact opposite. Your physical and emotional fatigue are a result of your dedication to your work and your patients. We work with you to develop strategies that will help you continue to provide quality, patient-centered care that does not come at the cost of your mental or physical health. We can help you immunize yourself to the healthcare burnout and build a tool box of resilience.
These are areas that we, as medical therapists, are specially trained and in & have worked with people, just like you.
